The top 10 states with respect to funds released/utilized under the scheme of special central assistance to tribal sub scheme during 2018-19 (as on 03.01.2019) were Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Gujarat, West Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Funds of Rs. 22828.7 lakhs was released for Madhya Pradesh under the scheme of special central assistance to tribal sub scheme during 2017-18. It has decreased by -25.67% to Rs. 16968.97 lakhs during 2018-19 (till 03.01.2019) above 2017-18. We have seen growth of 4.83% in funds released for Odisha under the scheme of special central assistance to tribal sub scheme from Rs. 11975 lakhs during 2017-18 to Rs. 12553.22 lakhs during 2018-19 (till 03.01.2019). Funds of Rs. 11502.17 lakhs was released for Maharashtra under the scheme of special central assistance to tribal sub scheme during 2018-19 (as on 03.01.2019), down by -16.41% against Rs. 13760.38 lakhs during 2017-18.
There was release of Rs. 10342.65 lakhs and Rs. 10327.93 lakhs for Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan respectively under the scheme of special central assistance to tribal sub scheme during 2018-19 (till 03.01.2019). We have observed growth of -27.81% in funds released for Chhattisgarh and 2.75% in funds released for Rajasthan under the scheme of special central assistance to tribal sub scheme during 2018-19 (as on 03.01.2019) from Rs. 14327.57 lakhs and Rs. 10051.83 lakhs respectively during 2017-18.
Funds released for Jharkhand, Gujarat, West Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh was Rs. 8564.52, 8333.52, 3948.15, 3749.8 and 3628 lakhs respectively under the scheme of special central assistance to tribal sub scheme during 2018-19 (till 03.01.2019).
