Individual Household Toilets/Latrines constructed under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) as on 30th November 2018

There were 5364746 Individual Household Toilets/Latrines (IHHLs) constructed in India under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) [SBM (U)] as on 30th November 2018. The top 5 States/UTs in terms of number of IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) as on 30-11-2018 were Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

The number of IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) was 682230 in Maharashtra as on 30-11-2018, which accounted 12.72% of the total IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) in India. There were 664836 IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) in Uttar Pradesh as on 30th November 2018. It accounted 12.39% of the total IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) in India as on the same time period. The number of IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) was 560046 in Gujarat as on 30-11-2018, which accounted 10.44% of the total IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) in India.

There were 501949 and 453315 IHHLs constructed in Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu respectively under SBM (U) as on 30th November 2018. Madhya Pradesh accounted for 9.36% and Tamil Nadu accounted for 8.45% of the total IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) in India as on 30-11-2018.

The above mentioned top 5 states accounted for 53.36% of the total IHHLs constructed under SBM (U) in India as a whole as on 30th November 2018.
