International Tourists Arrival in Tamil Nadu 2018

International tourism is a tourism involving residents of one country traveling all over the world. Tamil Nadu, a South Indian state, is famous for its Dravidian-style Hindu temples and other important tourist attractions throughout.

Based on the Time Series data published in Statistical Hand Book 2018 by the Department of Economics and Statistics, the graph shown below clearly exhibits the rise in number of International Tourists arrival in Tamil Nadu for a period of 16 years, from 2001 till 2016.

The number of International Tourists arrival is about 7.73 lakhs in the year 2001, which has been enormously raised to 47.22 Lakhs in 2016.
