Production of Oil and Natural Gas from Abroad during 2010-11 to 2016-17

Oil production from Abroad was 6.771 million metric tonnes (MMT) during 2010-11. It has decreased by -8.12% to 6.221 MMT in 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have observed annual decline of -42% in production of Oil during 2015-16 over 2014-15 from 5.533 MMT. Oil production from Abroad was 8.434 MMT during 2016-17, up by 53.07% versus 5.51 MMT during 2015-16.

Maximum of 8.434 MMT and minimum of 4.343 MMT has been found in 2016-17 and 2012-13 respectively in production of Oil from Abroad during the period under consideration.

Natural Gas production from Abroad was 2.696 billion cubic meters (BCM) during 2010-11. It has decreased by -6.08% to 2.532 BCM in 2011-12 over 2010-11. Annual growth of 195 basis points has been seen in production of Natural Gas during 2015-16 over 2014-15 from 3.341 BCM. Natural Gas production from Abroad was 4.369 BCM during 2016-17, up by 28.27% against 3.406 BCM during 2015-16.

Maximum of 4.369 BCM and minimum of 2.532 BCM has been found in 2016-17 and 2011-12 respectively in production of Natural Gas from Abroad during the period under consideration.
