The following graph shows the total number of teachers in Pune for the years – 2015-16 and 2016-17 for Private and Public Schools.
In the case of private schools, there were 13684 teachers in total during the years 2015-16. The year 2016-17 saw a percentage increase of 4.05% in teachers (14238).
On the other hand, in the case of Public schools, the year 2015-16 saw a total of 3094 teachers. This number decreased to 2868 in the years 2016-17 – which was a percentage decrease of 7.3%.
