International Passengers Carried & Annual Growth of it by all Scheduled Foreign Airlines To & From India during 2004-05 to 2016-17

Total International passengers carried by all scheduled foreign airlines to & from India were 12260992 during 2004-05, out of which 5957769 (48.6%) passengers were carried to India and 6303223 (51.4%) passengers were carried from India. Annual growth of 18.2% has been observed in International passengers carried by all scheduled foreign airlines to & from India during 2004-05 over 2003-04.

We have seen 9.4% annual growth in International passengers carried by all scheduled foreign airlines to & from India during 2015-16 from 28830719 passengers during 2014-15. Total International passengers carried by all scheduled foreign airlines to & from India were 34057321 during 2016-17, up by 8% versus 31543949 passengers during 2015-16. Out of the total 34057321 passengers carried during 2016-17, 16800346 (49.3%) passengers were carried to India and 17256975 (50.7%) passengers were carried from India. Out of the total 31543949 passengers carried during 2015-16, 15474649 (49.1%) passengers were carried to India and 16069300 (50.9%) passengers were carried from India.

We have observed maximum annual growth rate of 18.2% in 2004-05 and minimum annual growth rate of 3.5% in 2013-14 in International passengers carried by all scheduled foreign airlines to & from India during the period under consideration.
