Government of India has approved continuation of eleven Schemes /Missions under Umbrella Scheme – ‘Green Revolution – Krishonnati Yojana’ for the period from 2017-18 to 2019-20, with an expenditure of Rs. 33269.976 crore for the implementation of these schemes /missions. Total approved central share under Krishonnati Yojana-Umbrella Scheme was Rs. 8991 crore during 2017-18. It has increased by 27.85% during 2018-19 over 2017-18. We have observed annual growth of 11.22% in total approved central share under Krishonnati Yojana-Umbrella Scheme to Rs. 12784.417 crore during 2019-20 versus Rs. 11494.559 crore during 2018-19.
The top 3 Schemes /Missions in terms of highest central share approved under Krishonnati Yojana-Umbrella Scheme during 2019-20 was Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), National Food Security Mission (NFSM) and Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM). MIDH has been approved central share of Rs. 2730.64 crore under Krishonnati Yojana-Umbrella Scheme during 2019-20, up by 10% from Rs. 2482.4 crore during 2018-19. It accounted 21.36% of the total approved central share under the same scheme during 2019-20.
Approved central share was Rs. 2498.77 crore for NFSM under Krishonnati Yojana-Umbrella Scheme during 2019-20, up by 10% versus Rs. 2271.61 crore during 2018-19. It accounted 19.55% of the total approved central share under the same scheme during 2019-20. Annual growth of 25% has been seen in approved central share for SMAM under Krishonnati Yojana-Umbrella Scheme from Rs. 1200 crore during 2018-19 to Rs. 1500 crore during 2019-20. It accounted 11.73% of the total approved central share under the same scheme during 2019-20.
