Yoga workshops conducted by Ministry of AYUSH during 2016 to 2018

The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) conducted yoga workshops through three of its institutions during 2016 to 2018; namely Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Delhi (MDNIY), Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy, Delhi (CCRYN) and National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune (NIN).

There were a total of 760 yoga workshops conducted by M/o-AYUSH during 2016 to 2018; out of which 229 (30%) were conducted in 2016, 259 (34%) were conducted in 2017 and 272 (36%) were conducted in 2018. We have seen annual growth of 5% in yoga workshops conducted by M/o-AYUSH during 2018 in comparison to 13% during 2017.

The number of yoga workshops conducted through MDNIY was 141, 149 and 183 from 2016 to 2018 respectively. There were 5, 8 and 14 yoga workshops conducted through CCRYN from 2016 to 2018 respectively. The number of yoga workshops conducted through NIN was 83, 102 and 75 from 2016 to 2018 respectively.
