Year-wise Energy Supplied in Madhya Pradesh from 2002-03 to 2013-14

The total energy supplied in the state of Madhya Pradesh was 27094 MU (Million units of energy) during the year 2002-03. It increased to 51976 MU during the year 2013-14 recording an absolute growth of 24882 MU and an overall growth rate of 91.84% between 2002-03 and 2013-14. The annual average growth rate was 8.35% during the period.

The total energy supplied in the state of MP was 28599 MU during the year 2003-04. There was a growth of 5.55% during the year 2003-04. The total energy supplied increased to 30624 MU during the year 2004-05 recording a growth rate of 7.08%. The total energy supplied increased to 32232 MU during the year 2005-06 recording a growth rate of 5.25%. The total energy supplied increased to 33435 MU during the year 2006-07 recording a growth rate of 3.73%. The total energy supplied increased to 36073 MU during the year 2007-08 recording a growth rate of 7.89%.

The total energy supplied decreased to 35503 MU during the year 2008-09 recording a negative growth rate of -1.58%. The total energy supplied increased to 35563 MU during the year 2009-10 recording a growth rate of 0.17%. The total energy supplied increased to 38799 MU during the year 2010-11 recording a growth rate of 9.1%. The total energy supplied increased to 42945 MU during the year 2011-12 recording a growth rate of 10.69%. The total energy supplied increased to 47858 MU during the year 2012-13 recording a growth rate of 11.44%. The total energy supplied increased to 51976 MU during the year 2013-14 recording a growth rate of 8.6%.

The maximum increase of 4913 MU in total energy supplied was recorded during the year 2012-13, recording a growth rate of 11.44%. During the year 2008-09, there was a decline in total energy supplied by -1.58%.
