Value of Crude Oil Imported in India from 2017-18 to 2020-21

Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is working in collaboration with various Central Government Ministries/State Governments/stakeholders to make efforts to achieve a reduction in import dependency on oil.
Total values of crude oil imported is Rs. 24,16,461 crore from 2017-18 to 2020-21 (April-January). In 2017-18, the value of imported crude oil was Rs. 5,66,450 crore followed by Rs. 7,83,183 crore in 2018-19, Rs. 7,17,001 crore in 2019-20, and Rs. 3,49,827 crore in 2020-21 (April-January).
