Traffic handled at Non-Major Ports in Maharashtra from 2000-01 to 2013-14

The total traffic handled at non-major ports in Maharashtra in 2000-01 was 6045 thousand tonnes and it increased to 24664 thousand tonnes in 2013-14, recording a growth of 308.01%.
The traffic handled at non-major ports in Maharashtra in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 1772 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2000-01 was 62 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 3877 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2000-01 was 334 thousand tonnes.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Maharashtra in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 1282 thousand tonnes. It recorded a decline of -27.65% over the previous year. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2001-02 was nil. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 3203 thousand tonnes. It recorded a decline of -17.38% over the previous year. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2001-02 was 472 thousand tonnes. It recorded 41.32% growth over the previous year.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Maharashtra in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 13987 thousand tonnes. It recorded 20.27% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 689.33%. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2013-14 was 2613 thousand tonnes. It recorded a decline of -16.54% over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 4114.52%. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 7912 thousand tonnes. It recorded a decline of -9.67% over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 104.08%. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2013-14 was 152 thousand tonnes. It recorded a decline of -77.58% over the previous year. The total decline recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was -54.49%.
