Traffic handled at Non-Major Ports in Gujarat from 2000-01 to 2013-14

The total traffic handled at non-major ports in Gujarat in 2000-01 was 71259 thousand tonnes and it increased to 309945 thousand tonnes in 2013-14, recording a growth of 334.96% during the period of 2000-01 to 2013-14.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Gujarat in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 39196 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2000-01 was 14699 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 5721 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2000-01 was 11643 thousand tonnes.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Gujarat in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 45323 thousand tonnes. It recorded 15.63% growth over the previous year. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2001-02 was 16702 thousand tonnes. It recorded 13.63% growth over the previous year. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 5763 thousand tonnes. It recorded 0.73% growth over the previous year. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2001-02 was 11747 thousand tonnes. It recorded 0.89% growth over the previous year.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Gujarat in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 207152 thousand tonnes. It recorded 11.78% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 428.5%. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2013-14 was 76215 thousand tonnes. It recorded 14.05% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 418.5%. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 19898 thousand tonnes. It recorded 12.12% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 247.81%. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2013-14 was 6680 thousand tonnes. It recorded -62.73% decline over the previous year. The total decline recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was -42.63%.
