Top 10 States/UTs with respect to Central Fund Released under Ayushman Bharat during 2018-19

During 2018-19, fund of Rs. 1,191.52 crore was released under Ayushman Bharat to States/UTs in India. The top 10 States/UTs with respect to central fund released under Ayushman Bharat during 2018-19 were Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Karnataka.

The central fund released for Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 176.1 crore under Ayushman Bharat during 2018-19, which accounted 14.78% of the total fund released in India. There was release of Rs. 91.27 crore for Maharashtra under Ayushman Bharat during 2018-19. It accounted 7.66% of the total fund released in India during the same period. The amount of Rs. 88.5 crore was released for Bihar under Ayushman Bharat during 2018-19, which accounted 7.43% of the total fund released in India.

There was release of Rs. 87.74 crore for Madhya Pradesh and Rs. 83.7 crore for Rajasthan under Ayushman Bharat during 2018-19. Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan accounted for 7.36% and 7.02% respectively of the total fund released in India during 2018-19.

During 2018-19, central fund released for Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Karnataka was Rs. 68.67, 59.47, 56.41, 48.34 and 47.98 crore respectively under Ayushman Bharat. These aforesaid top 10 States/UTs accounted for 67.83% of the total fund released in India as a whole during 2018-19.
