The top 10 States/UTs in terms of maximum assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under National AYUSH Mission (NAM) during 2015-16 were; Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Mizoram, Manipur and Jammu & Kashmir.
There were 31 assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM in Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh each during 2015-16. Both the states individually accounted for 23.66% of the total assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM during 2015-16.
In Uttar Pradesh, there were 17 assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM during 2015-16. It accounted 12.98% of the total assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM during 2015-16. In Tripura, there were 14 assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM during 2015-16. It accounted 10.69% of the total assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM during 2015-16. In Kerala, there were 10 assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM during 2015-16. It accounted 7.63% of the total assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM during 2015-16.
During 2015-16, there were 9, 6, 5, 3 and 2 assisted units for opening of AYUSH Wellness Centers including Yoga under NAM in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Mizoram, Manipur and Jammu & Kashmir respectively.
