Top 10 States/UTs in terms of Crime rate of auto theft in India during 2016

Crime rate of auto theft in India was 16.8 during 2016. There were 213765 incidents and 214009 victims of auto theft reported during 2016 in India. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of having highest Crime rate of auto theft in India during 2016 were; Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Manipur, Rajasthan, Puducherry, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.

Crime rate of auto theft was 179.8 in Delhi during 2016. In Delhi, there were 38644 incidents and 38644 victims of auto theft reported during 2016. Crime rate of auto theft was 56.6 in Haryana during 2016. In Haryana, there were 15634 incidents and 15634 victims of auto theft reported during 2016. Crime rate of auto theft was 34.2 in Chandigarh during 2016. In Chandigarh, there were 616 incidents and 616 victims of auto theft reported during 2016.

Crime rate of auto theft was 24.7 in Manipur during 2016. In Manipur, there were 642 incidents and 642 victims of auto theft reported during 2016. Crime rate of auto theft was 23.9 in Rajasthan during 2016. In Rajasthan, there were 17544 incidents and 17544 victims of auto theft reported during 2016.

In Puducherry, there were 366 incidents and 435 victims with Crime rate of 21.7 were reported for auto theft during 2016. In Madhya Pradesh, there were 15876 incidents and 15878 victims with Crime rate of 20.3 were reported for auto theft during 2016. In Maharashtra, there were 22435 incidents and 22448 victims with Crime rate of 18.6 were reported for auto theft during 2016. In Karnataka, there were 10352 incidents and 10353 victims with Crime rate of 16.5 were reported for auto theft during 2016. In Uttar Pradesh, there were 34480 incidents and 34480 victims with Crime rate of 15.7 were reported for auto theft during 2016.
