The total amount utilised by States/ UTs was Rs. 6512.64 crore under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) (SBM (G)) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017). We have observed an annual growth of 7.01% in total amount utilised by States/ UTs under SBM (G) to Rs. 10027.48 crore during 2016-17 versus Rs. 9370.47 crore during 2015-16. The top 5 States/ UTs in terms of amount utilised under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017) were Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
The total amount utilised in Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 1267.71 crore under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017). It accounted 19.47% of the total amount utilised by States/ UTs under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017). An annual growth of 11.97% has been seen in amount utilised in Uttar Pradesh under SBM (G) from Rs. 1132.21 crore during 2016-17 to Rs. 1267.71 crore during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017). The total amount utilised in Rajasthan was Rs. 613.03 crore under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017). It accounted 9.41% of the total amount utilised by States/Uts under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017). An annual growth of -42.47% has been seen in amount utilised in Rajasthan under SBM (G) from Rs. 1065.63 crore during 2016-17 to Rs. 613.03 crore during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017).
The amount utilised in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 518.74 crore under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017), which accounted 7.97% of the total amount utilised by States/ UTs under SBM (G) during this period. The amount utilised in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 466.14 crore under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017), which accounted 7.16% of the total amount utilised by States/ UTs under SBM (G) during this period. The amount utilised in Karnataka was Rs. 461.85 crore under SBM (G) during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017), which accounted 7.09% of the total amount utilised by States/UTs under SBM (G) during this period. An annual growth of 15.6% has been seen in amount utilised in Karnataka under SBM (G) from Rs. 399.53 crore during 2016-17 to Rs. 461.85 crore during 2017-18 (upto 13-12-2017).
