During 2018-19 (upto 05/02/2019), Rs. 358408.54 lakh was provided as Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for promotion of various renewable energy schemes in India. Amount of Rs. 232153.09 lakh was provided to Central Agencies as CFA for promotion of various renewable energy schemes during 2018-19 (till 05/02/2019). It accounted 64.8% of the total amounts provided as CFA in India during the same period. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of amount provided as CFA for promotion of various renewable energy schemes during 2018-19 (till 05/02/2019) were Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu.
Amount of Rs. 27769 lakh was provided to Gujarat as CFA for promotion of various renewable energy schemes during 2018-19, which accounted 7.75% of the total amounts provided as CFA in India. Rs. 13023.19 lakh was provided to Andhra Pradesh as CFA for promotion of various renewable energy schemes during 2018-19. It accounted 3.63% of the total amounts provided as CFA in India during 2018-19. Amount of Rs. 9895.53 lakh was provided to Telangana as CFA for promotion of various renewable energy schemes during 2018-19, which accounted 2.76% of the total amounts provided as CFA in India.
During 2018-19 (till 05/02/2019), Rs. 9867.34 lakh was provided to Maharashtra and Rs. 9526.4 lakh was provided to Chhattisgarh as CFA for promotion of various renewable energy schemes. Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh accounted for 2.75% and 2.66% respectively of the total amounts provided as CFA in India during 2018-19 (upto 05/02/2019).
Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu had been provided with Rs. 8512.43, 8382.48, 7495.56, 7141.85 and 5280.72 lakh as CFA for promotion of various renewable energy schemes during 2018-19 (upto 05/02/2019).
