Top 10 States in terms of Central Share Released under Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana during 2017-18

The total central share released was Rs. 700.96 crore under Watershed Development Component (WDC) of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) during 2017-18 (upto 30.11.2017). In total there were 8214 Projects under WDC of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) during 2014-15 to 2017-18 (upto 30.11.2017) with sanctioned area of the projects of 39.07 million hectare. The top 5 States in terms of amount released by Centre under WDC of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) during 2017-18 were Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

The central share released for Maharashtra was 167.4 crore under WDC of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) during 2017-18. It accounted 23.88% of the total amount released by Centre under WDC of PMKSY during 2017-18. The central share released for Karnataka was 94.56 crore under Watershed Development Component (WDC) of PMKSY during 2017-18. It accounted 13.49% of the total amount released by Centre under Watershed Development Component (WDC) of PMKSY during 2017-18 during 2017-18. The central share released for Madhya Pradesh was 80.9 crore under WDC of PMKSY during 2017-18. It accounted 11.54% of the total amount released by Centre under Watershed Development Component (WDC) of PMKSY during 2017-18 during 2017-18.

The amount released by Centre for Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 74.01 crore under WDC of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) during 2017-18, which accounted 10.56% of the total amount released under Watershed Development Component (WDC) of PMKSY during this period. The amount released by Centre for Odisha was Rs. 56.68 crore under Watershed Development Component (WDC) of PMKSY during 2017-18, which accounted 8.09% of the total amount released under Watershed Development Component (WDC) of PMKSY during this period.
