Top 10 States in Funds Released under Smart City Mission in 2015-16

The amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in India was Rs. 1475.2 crores in 2015-16. The top 10 states in terms of the amount of funds released under Smart City Mission were: Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and West Bengal in 2015-16.

The amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 386 crores in 2015-16. It was 26.17% of the amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in India in 2015-16.

The amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 380 crores in 2015-16. It was 25.76% of the amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in India in 2015-16. The amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in Rajasthan was Rs. 353.2 crores in 2015-16. It was 23.94% of the amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in India in 2015-16.

The amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in Odisha was Rs. 192 crores in 2015-16. It was 13.02% of the amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in India in 2015-16. The amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in Tamil Nadu was Rs. 24 crores in 2015-16. It was 1.63% of the amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in India in 2015-16.

These top 5 states accounted for 90.52% of the total amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in India as a whole in 2015-16. The amount of funds released under Smart City Mission in Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 24 crores in 2015-16 (1.63% of All India).
