Top 10 Licensed Service Areas in terms of Number of Base Transceiver Stations setup at Mobile Towers as on 31-05-2017

The top 10 Licensed Service Areas (LSAs) in terms of number of Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs) setup at Mobile Towers as on 31-05-2017 were Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh (East), Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Delhi and Rajasthan.

There were 127601 BTSs setup at Mobile Towers in Tamil Nadu as on 31-05-2017. It accounted 8.59% of the total (1485753) number of BTSs setup at Mobile Towers in India as on 31-05-2017. The number of BTSs setup at Mobile Towers in Maharashtra was 123694 as on 31-05-2017, which accounted 8.33% of the total number of BTSs setup at Mobile Towers in India as on 31-05-2017. There were 115977 BTSs setup at Mobile Towers in Andhra Pradesh as on 31-05-2017. It accounted 7.81% of the total number of BTSs setup at Mobile Towers in India as on 31-05-2017.

The number of BTSs setup at Mobile Towers in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh (East), Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Delhi and Rajasthan was 109948, 92155, 91508, 86872, 77503, 77237 and 74715 respectively as on 31-05-2017.
