Sub-Centres, Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs) Functioning in India, 2005 and 2012

During 2005-12, number of Sub-Centres increased by 1.6% from 146026 in 2005 to 148366 in 2012. Number of Primary Health Centres (PHCs) increased by 3.5% from 23236 in 2005 to 24049 in 2012 while number of Community Health Centres (CHCs) increased by 44.4% from 3346 in 2005 to 4833 in 2012.

The overall 2.7% growth has observed from 172608 in 2005 to 177248 in 2012 in sub-centre, Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs).
