Statistics of COVID 19 Cases in Tamil Nadu as on 31st July 2021

Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered Corona Virus. The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose, when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to protect yourself and others from infection, by washing off your hands frequently either by soap or using a sanitizer, not touching your face and following social distancing guidelines.

The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Government of Tamil Nadu is bringing out daily bulletin on the status of COVID-19. Based on this data, the graph arrived below, explains the cumulative count of Positive Cases, Active Cases, Recovery Cases and Death Cases of COVID 19 in Tamil Nadu till 31st July 2021.

From the graph, it is seen that the Number of Positive Cases got increased from 24,84,177 as on 01st July 2021 to 25,59,597 as on 31st July 2021, The Number of Active Cases got decreased from 37,526 as on 01st July 2021 to 20,716 as on 31st July 2021 and the Number of Recovery Cases got increased from 24,13,93 as on 01st July 2021 to 25,04,805 as on 31st July 2021.
