State/UT-wise Estimates Per Capita Availability of Milk During 2007-08 and 2011-12

Increasing trend seen in India in Per Capita Availability Of Milk (260 in 2007-08 and 290 in 2011-12). Punjab, Haryana,Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh States have the higher Per Capita Availability Of Milkin both 2007-08 and 2011-12 in comparison to other States. Punjab has the highest Per Capita Availability Of Milk 956 in 2007-08 and 951 in 2011-12 with decreasing trend. Ten States viz. Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are above the National estimate (290) in 2011-12.
