State-wise Production of Copper Concentrate in India during 2015-16 to 2017-18

Production of Copper Concentrate was 151837 tonne in India during 2015-16. It has decreased by -11.23% during 2016-17 over 2015-16. We have seen annual growth of 5.25% in production of Copper Concentrate in India to 141863 tonne during 2017-18 versus 134787 tonne during 2016-17. In value term it was Rs. 6548318 thousand, Rs. 6506132 thousand and Rs. 7742764 thousand from 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively.

Three states were there in India where Copper Concentrate was produced during 2015-16 to 2017-18; the names of those states were Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Copper Concentrate production in Jharkhand was 5072 tonne during 2017-18, down by -48.26% versus 9802 tonne during 2016-17; whereas it was 8574 tonne during 2015-16. Its value was Rs. 286142 thousand, Rs. 332320 thousand and Rs. 173106 thousand during 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively.

Production of Copper Concentrate was 79281 tonne in Madhya Pradesh during 2015-16. It has decreased by -13.99% to 68187 tonne during 2016-17 over 2015-16. Copper Concentrate production in Madhya Pradesh was 75479 tonne during 2017-18, up by 10.69% against 68187 tonne during 2016-17. In value term it was Rs. 3315629 thousand, Rs. 3128301 thousand and Rs. 3522250 thousand from 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively.

Copper Concentrate production in Rajasthan was 63982 tonne, 56798 tonne and 61312 tonne from 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively. Annual growth of -11.23% and 7.95% has been observed in production of Copper Concentrate in Rajasthan during 2016-17 and 2017-18 respectively over its previous year. Its value was Rs. 2946547 thousand, Rs. 3045512 thousand and Rs. 4047407 thousand during 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively.
