State/UT-wise Persondays Generated under MGNREGS from 2014-15 to 2020-21

There were 2,653,170,943 persondays generated during 2019-20 and 2,058,446,082 persondays generated during 2020-21 (as on 19th Sep 2020) under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in India. The top 5 States/UTs with respect to persondays generated under MGNREGS during 2020-21 (as on 19-09-2020) were Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

During 2020-21 (as on 19.09.2020), the number of persondays generated under MGNREGS was 274274160, 234081377, 214543483, 205359646 and 166152636 in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh respectively.
