State/UT-wise Budget Approved for Distributing Free Text Books to Children under Samagra Shiksha Scheme during 2021-22

The total budget of Rs. 2,86,055.88 lakhs were approved for distributing free textbooks to the children at the elementary level under Samagra Shiksha Scheme during 2021-22. The top 10 States/UT in terms of the budget approved for distributing free textbooks to the children at the elementary level
under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Jharkhand.
