State/UT-wise Beneficiaries since Beginning of the Scheme under Swadhar Greh from 2016-17 to 2020-21

The Ministry of Women and Child Development implements Swadhar Greh scheme which envisions a supportive institutional framework for women victims of difficult circumstances so that they could lead their life with dignity and conviction.

The top 10 states in terms of beneficiaries during 2020-21 were Odisha (1667), Karnataka (1402), Tamil Nadu (864), West Bengal (779), Andhra Pradesh (436), Manipur (413), Telangana (389), Uttar Pradesh (299), Madhya Pradesh (257), and Assam (232).
