SBI and Associate Banks: Return on Assets (%) annualized from FY 2009-10 to FY 2013-14

Return on Assets (ROA) is an important performance indicator for measuring the performance of the banks. ROA is a profitability ratio and shows how profitable a bank is relative to its total assets. ROA also gives an idea as to how efficient management is at using its assets to generate earnings. ROA is the ratio of annual net income to average total assets of a business during a financial year.

State Bank of India has shown a Return on Assets of 0.65% annualized in the Financial Year April 2013 – March 2014; State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur has shown a Return on Assets of 0.87% annualized in the Financial Year April 2013 – March 2014; State Bank of Hyderabad has shown a Return on Assets of 0.7% annualized in the Financial Year April 2013 – March 2014; State Bank of Mysore has shown a Return on Assets of 0.4% annualized in the Financial Year April 2013 – March 2014; State Bank of Patiala has shown a Return on Assets of 0.42% annualized in the Financial Year April 2013 – March 2014 and State Bank of Travancore has shown a Return on Assets of 0.29% annualized in the Financial Year April 2013 – March 2014.

State Bank of India has shown a decrease in the Return on Assets % annualized by -0.23 percentage points between the FY 2009-10 and 2013-14; State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur has shown a decrease in the Return on Assets % annualized by -0.06 percentage points between the FY 2009-10 and 2013-14; State Bank of Hyderabad has shown a decrease in the Return on Assets % annualized by -0.33 percentage points between the FY 2009-10 and 2013-14; State Bank of Mysore has shown a decrease in the Return on Assets % annualized by -0.66 percentage points between the FY 2009-10 and 2013-14; State Bank of Patiala has shown a decrease in the Return on Assets % annualized by -0.37 percentage points between the FY 2009-10 and 2013-14 and State Bank of Travancore has shown a decrease in the Return on Assets % annualized by -0.97 percentage points between the FY 2009-10 and 2013-14.
