Realisation of Excise and Customs duties from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products from 2010-11 to 2016-17

Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 19.56% has been observed in realisation of Excise and Customs duties from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products from Rs. 102827.777 crore during 2010-11 to Rs. 300295.638 crore during 2016-17. We have seen a CAGR of 24.06% and -3.45% in realisation of Excise duties and Customs duties respectively from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products during 2010-11 to 2016-17.

Realisation of Excise duties was Rs. 76546 crore from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products during 2010-11. It has decreased by -2.41% to Rs. 74701 crore during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have seen an annual growth of 40.35% in realisation of Excise duties from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products to Rs. 279005.293 crore during 2016-17 versus Rs. 198793.321 crore during 2015-16. Maximum annual growth of 80.14% has been found in 2015-16 in realisation of Excise duties from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products during the period under consideration.

Realisation of Customs duties was Rs. 26281.777 crore from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products during 2010-11. It has decreased by -21.92% to Rs. 20519.57 crore during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have observed an annual growth of 40.05% in realisation of Customs duties from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products from Rs. 15201.979 crore during 2015-16 to Rs. 21290.345 crore during 2016-17. Maximum annual growth of 40.05% has been found in 2016-17 in realisation of Customs duties from Crude Oil and Petroleum Products during the period under consideration.
