Progress Update of Tamil Nadu Open Government Data Portal as on 31-10-2019

The Open Government Data Portal of Tamil Nadu has been set up at https://tn.data.gov.in to provide collated access to the resources (data-sets/apps) under catalogs, published by different government departments under Government of Tamil Nadu in open data format. The portal presently has 15,109 resources / data-sets in 895 Catalogs from 52 departments.

A review meeting was conducted on the features of TNOGD portal for 50 officials from 32 departments on 17^th October 2019, in the conference hall at Department of Economics and Statistics (DES). Post session, the officials have been asked to contribute shareable data within the next 2 weeks.

The Data-sets on Season and Crop Report of Tamil Nadu for the year 2016-17 from Department of Economics and Statistics, covering 497 data-sets across 66 Catalogs has also been updated in shareable format in the TNOGD Portal.
