Production of Synthetic Detergent Intermediates Products in India during 2007-14

India has witnessed a fluctuating trend in production of Synthetic Detergent Intermediates Products during 2007-08 to 2013-14. During this period, production of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) decreased by 2.5% CAGR from 470.74 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2007-08 to 405.64 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2013-14. During this period, production of Ethylene Oxide (EO) grew by 9.0% CAGR from 114.08 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2007-08 to 190.89 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2013-14.

Note: Data to be released on half yearly basis. Annual data for the previous years and for the period from April to September for the current year will be released in the first week of January and annual data up to the last financial year will be released in the first/Second week of July. Revision in the data base, if required, will be done in the first week of April and October.
