Production of Major Minerals in Madhya Pradesh from 2009-10 to 2012-2013

The production of Coal increased from 74074 Thousands Metric Ton in 2009 -2010 to 74248 Thousands Metric Ton in 2012 -2013 showing an increase of 174 Thousands Metric Ton (0.23%). The Annual growth rate of the production of Coal was 0.08% during the period. The production of Copper Ore increased from 1933 Thousands Metric Ton in 2009 -2010 to 2254 Thousands Metric Ton in 2012 -2013 showing an increase of 321 Thousands Metric Ton (16.61%). The Annual growth rate of the production of Copper Ore was 5.54% during the period. The production of Manganese Ore increased from 611 Thousands Metric Ton in 2009 -2010 to 637 Thousands Metric Ton in 2012 -2013 showing an increase of 26 Thousands Metric Ton (4.26%). The Annual growth rate of the production of Manganese Ore was 1.42% during the period. The production of Limestone increased from 28543 Thousands Metric Ton in 2009 -2010 to 31837 Thousands Metric Ton in 2012 -2013 showing an increase of 3294 Thousands Metric Ton (11.54%). The Annual growth rate of the production of Limestone was 3.85% during the period.

Among the four minerals, the production of Limestone has shown the highest increase of 3294 Thousands Metric Ton during the period from 2009-10 to 2012-2013. On the other hand, the production of Manganese Ore has shown the lowest increase of 26 Thousands Metric Ton during the period. In percentage terms, the production of Copper Ore has shown the highest increase of 16.61%; while the production of Coal has shown the lowest increase of 0.23% during the period.
