Production of Building Blocks – Olefins Petrochemicals from 2013-14 to 2020-21

The Intermediates products namely Butadiene, Ethylene, Propylene were produced under Building Blocks – Olefins group during 2013-14 to 2020-21. The total production of Building Blocks – Olefins was 12,039.45 thousand metric tonnes during 2020-21.
In 2020-21, the highest production of Ethylene was 6,364.89 thousand metric tonnes while the lowest production of Butadiene was 458.8 thousand metric tonnes in comparison of others Building Blocks – Olefins products.

Note – Figures in ‘000 MT. Production data in respect of PetroChemicals is based on MPRs received from manufacturers under large and medium scale units monitored by S&M Division of DCPC.
