The top five years with the highest number of Postal Life Insurance (PLI) – Policies procured during the financial year in the period between 2001-02 and 2013-14 were: 2009-10 (597234 Postal Life Insurance (PLI) – Policies procured during the financial year); 2010-11 (540743 Postal Life Insurance (PLI) – Policies procured during the financial year); 2011-12 (482423 Postal Life Insurance (PLI) – Policies procured during the financial year); 2012-13 (454053 Postal Life Insurance (PLI) – Policies procured during the financial year) and 2013-14 (433182 Postal Life Insurance (PLI) – Policies procured during the financial year).
