Percentage of Waste Processed in India from 2015-16 to 2019-20

India has witnessed an increasing trend in percentage of waste processed in cities from 2015-16 to 2019-20.

The percentage of waste processed in cities in India was 17.97% during 2015-16. It has increased by 5.17% to 23.14% during 2016-17 above 2015-16. We have seen annual growth of 24.62% in percentage of waste processed in cities in India during 2018-19 from 28.57% during 2017-18. The percentage of waste processed in cities in India was 60% during 2019-20, up by 6.81% versus 53.19% during 2018-19.

The maximum annual growth of 24.62% has been observed in 2018-19 in percentage of waste processed in cities in India during the period under consideration.
