Percentage of ST Enrolment at Elementary Level

Increasing trend has been seen in India in Percentage of ST Enrolment at Elementary Level 10.7% in 2010-11 and 10.85% in 2012-13. Mizoram has highest Percentage of ST Enrolment at Elementary Level 98.49% in 2010-11 and 99.22% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states. Haryana has lowest Percentage of ST Enrolment at Elementary Level 0.08% in 2010-11 and 0.00% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states. Sixteen States/UTs viz. A & N Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal are below the National estimate 10.85% in 2012-13.
