Percentage of SC Enrolment in Classes I to VII or VIII

Increasing trend has been seen in India in Percentage of SC Enrolment in Classes I to VII or VIII 19.06% in 2010-11 and 20.24% in 2012-13. Punjab has highest Percentage of SC Enrolment in Classes I to VII or VIII 37.85% in 2010-11 and 41.29% in 2012-13 comparison to other states. A & N Islands has lowest Percentage of SC Enrolment in Classes I to VII or VIII 0.00% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states followed by 0.39% in 2010-11. Twenty six States/UTs viz. A & N Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Sikkim and Tripura are below the National estimate 20.24% in 2012-13.
