Percentage of Households using Clean Cooking Fuel in India from 2015-16 to 2019-20

We have witnessed an increasing trend in percentage of households using clean cooking fuel in India from 2015-16 to 2019-20.

The percentage of households using clean cooking fuel in India was 63.1% in 2015-16. It has increased by 11.1% to 74.2% during 2016-17 over 2015-16. Annual growth of 15.4% has been seen in percentage of households using clean cooking fuel in India during 2018-19 from 82.5% during 2017-18. The percentage of households using clean cooking fuel in India was 98.1% during 2019-20, up by 0.2% against 97.9% during 2018-19.

The maximum annual growth of 15.4% has been observed in 2018-19 in percentage of households using clean cooking fuel in India during the period under consideration.
