India has witnessed an increasing trend in Passengers carried to India and carried from India on Scheduled Services of Air India from 2009-10 to 2015-16. There was a compound annual growth rate of 12.7% in total passengers carried on Scheduled Services of Air India from 2764491 during 2009-10 to 5663538 during 2015-16. There was a compound annual growth rate of 12.9% in passengers carried to India on Scheduled Services of Air India from 1355699 during 2009-10 to 2813409 during 2015-16. There was a compound annual growth rate of 12.5% in passengers carried from India on Scheduled Services of Air India from 1408792 during 2009-10 to 2850129 during 2015-16.
We have seen a growth of 3.78% in Total number of passengers carried on Scheduled Services of Air India during 2015-16 over 2014-15. During 2015-16, Total number of passengers carried on Scheduled Services of Air India were 5663538, out of which 2813409 passengers were carried to India and 2850129 passengers were carried from India. We have seen a growth of 9.48% in Total number of passengers carried on Scheduled Services of Air India during 2014-15 over 2013-14.
