Operating Revenue vs. Operating Expenditure of Scheduled Private Airlines during 2012-13 to 2016-17

During 2012-13, Operating Revenue of Scheduled Private Airlines was Rs. 366836.7 million. It has increased by 7.85% during 2013-14 to Rs. 395618 million over 2012-13. We have observed an annual growth of 10.69% from Rs. 487808.1 million during 2015-16 to Rs. 539961.5 million during 2016-17.

During 2012-13, Operating Expenses of Scheduled Private Airlines was Rs. 361814.1 million. It has increased by 20.37% during 2013-14 to Rs. 435513.2 million over 2012-13. We have observed an annual growth of 15.67% from Rs. 451944.1 million during 2015-16 to Rs. 522766.4 million during 2016-17.

We have seen a negative value in Operating Result (difference between Operating Revenue and Operating Expenses) of Rs. -39895.2 million during 2013-14 and Rs. -17561.7 million during 2014-15. We have seen a positive value in Operating Result (difference between Operating Revenue and Operating Expenses) of Rs. 5022.6 million, Rs. 35864 million and Rs. 17195.1 million during 2012-13, 2015-16 and 2016-17 respectively.
