Number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used in India from 2004 to 2016

India has witnessed a decreasing trend in number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used during 2004 to 2016. We have seen a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of -3.95% in number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used from 40.92 million during 2004 to 25.22 million during 2016.

Number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used in India was 40.92 million during 2004. Number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used in India was 41.42 million during 2005. It increased by 0.5 million as compared to the previous year 2004. In percentage terms, the increase was 1.22% during the year 2005 over 2004.

We have seen a decline of -1.36% in number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used in India from 40.77 million during 2007 to 39.41 million during 2008. We have seen a decline of -2.23% in number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used in India from 36.96 million during 2010 to 34.73 million during 2011.

We have seen a decline of -6.67% in number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used in India from 28.5 million during 2014 to 26.6 million during 2015. Usage of number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) decreased by 1.38 million during 2016 as compared to the previous year 2015. In percentage terms, the decrease was -5.19% during the year 2016 over 2015.

The maximum annual growth of 0.54 million was recorded in number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used in the year 2007 during the period under consideration. In percentage terms, the maximum annual growth rate in number of Wireline Phones (Fixed DELs) used of 1.34% was also recorded in the year 2007 during the period under consideration.
