Ladli Scheme in Haryana from 2010-11 to 2013-14

The objective of the Ladli scheme is to raise the status of the girl child in the family and in the society and to change the mindsets of the people for proper rearing of the girl children. Under the scheme all parents residents of Haryana or having Haryana domicile will be provided financial incentive per year for upto five years whose second girl child is born on or after 20th August, 2005 irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, income or number of sons.

The number of beneficiaries of Ladli scheme was 24800 during the year 2010-11. The amount disbursed under Ladli scheme was 1424.99 lakhs during the year 2010-11.

The number of beneficiaries of Ladli scheme was 25281 during the year 2011-12. It increased by 481 as compared to the year 2010-11. In percentage terms, the growth was 1.94% during the period. The amount disbursed under Ladli scheme was Rs. 1428.81 lakhs during the year 2011-12. It increased by Rs. 3.82 lakhs as compared to the year 2010-11. In percentage terms, the growth was 0.27% during the period.

The number of beneficiaries of Ladli scheme was 25109 during the year 2012-13. It decreased by -172 as compared to the year 2011-12. In percentage terms, the decrease was -0.68% during the period. The amount disbursed under Ladli scheme was Rs. 1546.36 lakhs during the year 2012-13. It increased by Rs. 117.55 lakhs as compared to the year 2011-12. In percentage terms, the growth was 8.23% during the period.

The number of beneficiaries of Ladli scheme was 25961 during the year 2013-14. It increased by 852 as compared to the year 2012-13. In percentage terms, the growth was 3.39% during the period. The amount disbursed under Ladli scheme was Rs. 1532 lakhs during the year 2013-14. It decreased by Rs. -14.36 lakhs as compared to the year 2012-13. In percentage terms, the decrease was -0.93% during the period.
