Investments in Industrial Entrepreneurs Memorandum (IEMs) Implemented during 2007 to 2013

In India, the investment in IEMs Implemented by Industrial Undertakings have increased from Rs. 19390 crores in 2007 to Rs. 78497 crores in 2013, showing a growth rate of 304.83% during the said period. The annual growth rate during this period is 50.81%. The annual growth in percentage terms of investment in IEMs Implemented in various years is as follows: 2008 (-35.71%), 2009 (17.86%), 2010 (102.40%), 2011 (-56.72%), 2012 (538.35%) and 2013 (-4.45%).
The investment in IEMs Implemented by Industrial Undertakings during 2006-07 to 2012-13 shows fluctuations in investment from year to year.

The investment in various years, during 2007 to 2013, range from Rs.12465 crores in 2008 (minimum) to Rs. 82156 crores in 2012 (maximum) during the period in India. The highest investment in IEMs Implemented by Industrial Undertakings was Rs. 30266 crores in Maharashtra in 2013 and Rs. 7474 crores in Gujarat in 2007. However, there is a long term rising trend in investment in IEMs Implemented by Industrial Undertakings from 2008 (Rs. 12465 crores) to 2013 (Rs. 78497 crores).
