Gross Petroleum Imports by India from 2010-11 to 2016-17

Gross Petroleum Imports was 190.906 million metric tonnes (MMT) during 2010-11. Its value was Rs. 5256.367 billion during 2010-11. It has increased by 5.18% to 200.793 MMT during 2011-12 over 2010-11. In value term it has increased by 46.87% to Rs. 7720.287 billion during 2011-12 over 2010-11.

Annual growth of 10.51% has been seen in Gross Petroleum Imports during 2015-16 over 2014-15 from 224.828 MMT. We have observed de-growth of -35.69% in Gross Petroleum Imports during 2015-16 over 2014-15 from Rs. 8194.447 billion. Gross Petroleum Imports was 267.976 MMT during 2016-17, up by 7.86% from 248.448 MMT during 2015-16. In value term it has increased by 10.4% from Rs. 5269.779 billion during 2015-16 to Rs. 5817.91 billion during 2016-17.

Maximum Gross Petroleum Imports of 267.976 MMT has been observed in 2016-17 & Minimum Gross Petroleum Imports of 190.906 MMT has been seen in 2010-11 during the period under consideration. Maximum Gross Petroleum Imports of Rs. 9938.945 billion has been observed in 2013-14 & Minimum Gross Petroleum Imports of Rs. 5256.367 billion has been seen in 2010-11 during the period under consideration.
