Grant Provided to Central Government Hospitals in Delhi from 2016-17 to 2018-19

During 2016-17 to 2018-19, Grant provided by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to Central Government Hospitals in Delhi were All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Safdarjung Hospital, PGIMER Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College & Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital, Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, National Institute of Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases and Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute.

Fund made available to AIIMS was Rs. 3018 crore during 2018-19, up by 25.75% against Rs. 2400 crore during 2017-18. We have seen annual growth of 17.47% in grant provided to AIIMS during 2017-18 from Rs. 2043 crore during 2016-17. Grant provided to Safdarjung Hospital was Rs. 943.98 crore in 2016-17. It has increased by 18.79% to Rs. 1121.39 crore during 2017-18 above 2016-17. Annual growth of 4.97% has been observed in grant provided to Safdarjung Hospital during 2018-19 to Rs. 1177.17 crore. Fund made available to PGIMER Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital was Rs. 562.49 crore during 2018-19, up by 101 basis points versus Rs. 556.87 crore during 2017-18. We have seen annual growth of 13.18% in grant provided to PGIMER Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital during 2017-18 from Rs. 492 crore during 2016-17.

Grant provided by the Ministry to Lady Hardinge Medical College & Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital, Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, National Institute of Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases and Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute was Rs. 410.74, 111.81, 91.71 and 65.5 crore respectively in 2018-19.
