Production of Gold in India shows no discernible trend from 2000-01 to 2015-16. Gold production in India was 2615 kilogram during 2000-01. Its value was Rs. 1234926 thousand during 2000-01. An Annual growth of 7.46% was seen in production of Gold to 2810 kilogram during 2001-02 over 2000-01. Its value was Rs. 1281082 thousand during 2001-02.
An Annual growth of 25.75% was observed in production of Gold from 2361 kilogram during 2006-07 to 2969 kilogram during 2007-08. Its value was Rs. 2173412 and Rs. 3017382 thousand during 2006-07 and 2007-08 respectively. An Annual decline of -17.88% was seen in production of Gold to 2438 kilogram during 2008-09 over 2007-08.
We have observed an annual decline of -7.86% in production of Gold from 1564 kilogram during 2013-14 to 1441 kilogram during 2014-15. Its value was Rs. 4225315 and Rs. 3602722 thousand during 2013-14 and 2014-15 respectively. We have seen an annual decline of -8.19% in Gold production to 1323 kilogram during 2015-16 over 2014-15. Its value was Rs. 3214623 thousand during 2015-16.
A maximum annual growth of 25.75% was observed in production of Gold in the year 2007-08 during the period under consideration. A maximum annual production of 3526 kilogram was recorded in production of Gold in 2004-05 during the period under consideration. A minimum annual production of 1323 kilogram was recorded in production of Gold in 2015-16 during the period under consideration.
