Exports of Raw Cotton in Indian Rupees from March 2007 to March 2013

The export of raw cotton from India increased from Rs. 61078 Million in FY 2007 to Rs. 198130 Million in FY 2013 showing an increase of 137052 Million (224.39%). The Annual growth rate of the export of raw cotton from India was 37.4% during the period.

The top 10 countries for export of raw cotton from India in 2012-13 in terms of value in Indian rupees are: China with Rs. 120720 Million; Bangladesh with Rs. 33161 Million; Pakistan with Rs. 16783 Million; Vietnam with Rs. 9046 Million; Hong Kong with Rs. 4068 Million; Indonesia with Rs. 3219 Million; Chinese Taipei with Rs. 2330 Million; Thailand with Rs. 1344 Million; Turkey with Rs. 562 Million and Italy with Rs. 431 Million.

The export of raw cotton to China increased from Rs. 29698 Million in FY 2007 to Rs. 120720 Million in FY 2013 showing an increase of 91022 Million (306.49%). The Annual growth rate of the export of raw cotton to China was 51.08% during the period. The export of raw cotton to Bangladesh increased from Rs. 2075 Million in FY 2007 to Rs. 33161 Million in FY 2013 showing an increase of 31086 Million (1498.42%). The Annual growth rate of the export of raw cotton to Bangladesh was 249.74% during the period. The export of raw cotton to Pakistan increased from Rs. 9000 Million in FY 2007 to Rs. 16783 Million in FY 2013 showing an increase of 7783 Million (86.48%). The Annual growth rate of the export of raw cotton to Pakistan was 14.41% during the period.
