Expenditure on Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Yoga and Naturopathy, and Siddha in 2015-16

The actual plan expenditure on Ayurveda was Rs. 133.87 crores in 2015- 16. It had increased from Rs. 84.28 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute growth of Rs. 49.59 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 58.84% in 2015- 16. The actual non- plan expenditure on Ayurveda was Rs. 121.45 crores in 2015- 16. It had decreased from Rs. 122.68 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute decrease of Rs. -1.23 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual decrease was -1% in 2015- 16.

The actual plan expenditure on Homoeopathy was Rs. 137.03 crores in 2015- 16. It had increased from Rs. 55.39 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute growth of Rs. 81.64 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 147.39% in 2015- 16. The actual non- plan expenditure on Homoeopathy was Rs. 30.01 crores in 2015- 16. It had increased from Rs. 27.42 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute growth of Rs. 2.59 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 9.45% in 2015- 16.

The actual plan expenditure on Unani was Rs. 64.92 crores in 2015- 16. It had increased from Rs. 47.58 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute growth of Rs. 17.34 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 36.44% in 2015- 16. The actual non- plan expenditure on Unani was Rs. 48.5 crores in 2015- 16. It had decreased from Rs. 50.2 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute decrease of Rs. -1.7 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual decrease was -3.39% in 2015- 16.

The actual plan expenditure on Yoga and Naturopathy, and Siddha was Rs. 44.02 crores in 2015- 16. It had increased from Rs. 8.79 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute growth of Rs. 35.23 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 400.8% in 2015- 16. The actual non- plan expenditure on Yoga and Naturopathy, and Siddha was Rs. 19.37 crores in 2015- 16. It had increased from Rs. 17.59 crores in 2014- 15, recording an absolute growth of Rs. 1.78 crores as compared to 2014- 15. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 10.12% in 2015- 16.
