India has witnessed an upward trend in Electricity Generation by Thermal Power Utilities during 2010-11 to 2016-17. We have seen a compound annual growth rate of 5.91% in Electricity Generation by Thermal Power Utilities in India from 2010-11 to 2016-17. Electricity Generation by Thermal Power Utilities in India was 704300 GWh during 2010-11. It has increased by 7.82% to 759400 GWh during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have observed an annual growth of 7.41% in Electricity Generation by Thermal Power Utilities in India to 943012.92 GWh during 2015-16 versus 877941.49 GWh during 2014-15. Electricity Generation by Thermal Power Utilities in India was 994215.33 GWh during 2016-17, up by 5.43% over 2015-16.
