Chemicals Production during 2009-10 to 2016-17

India has witnessed a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.75% in Production of Major Chemicals during 2009-10 to 2016-17. Production of Major Chemicals was 8465.169 thousand metric tonne during 2009-10. It has increased by 7.75% to 9121.169 thousand metric tonne during 2010-11 over 2009-10.

An annual growth of 2.32% has been observed in Production of Major Chemicals during 2015-16 from 9659.944 thousand metric tonne. We have seen an annual growth of 3.54% in Production of Major Chemicals from 9883.727 thousand metric tonne during 2015-16 to 10233.477 thousand metric tonne during 2016-17.

Maximum annual growth of 7.75% was found in the year 2010-11 in Production of Major Chemicals during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. Minimum annual growth of 0.18% was found in the year 2014-15 in Production of Major Chemicals during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17.
